Tangible Activities
ABBY comes equipped with a variety of tangible activities for Residents to interact with. Please select a tangible activiy from the list below to find out what the tangible activity is about and what happens when interacted with.
Pet the cat
Petting the cat will activate the ABBY video player and play a video of cats on the main screen. The cat panel functionality is not personalizable.
Turn the wheel
Turning the wheel switches the ABBY Radio functionality on, which is not a real radio but an audio player that plays audio content from the ABBY media library. The ABBY Radio is resident personalizable and therefor if there are audio files uploaded into the resident's profile and the resident is wearing his/her bluetooth beacon, the audio content playing will be the one of that resident.
Flip a switch
Flipping any of the 3 switches will light up the corresponding LED light above that switch.
Switch 1 - Activates and displays the ABBY Baloon Popping game on the main screen for the resident to play. The Baloon game is not resident personalizable.
Switch 2 - Activates and displays the ABBY Matching game on the main screen for the resident to play. The matching Game is Resident personalisable. Promps can be individually recorded to include the resident's name, or even in their touge language. Images used to play the game can also be personalized to the resident's interesets to make the matching more fun and successuful.
Switch 3 - Activates the ABBY Slideshow functionality which is completely Resident Personalizable to include his/her personal pictures, or pictures of interests and also play their favourite music in the background.
Radio
By turning the radio knob, an audio file is configured to play that can be Resident personalized. If there are audio files uploaded into the resident's profile and the resident is wearing his/her bluetooth beacon, the audio content playing will be specific to that resident.
TV
The TV knob is also Resident personalisable and will play on the screen the videos that were uploaded into the resident's profile.
Push the button
Pushing the button will activate the ABBY Slideshow functionality which is completely Resident Personalizable to include his/her personal pictures, or pictures of interests and also play their favourite music in the background.
